HP 802 is an AB Class stereo spl car audio amplifier, able to deliver up to 1800W. The power supply stage is overbuilt featuring components selected for their robustness, efficiency and reliability even for extended time operation. The output stage features an oversized power supply with 4 toroidal transformers, providing the ability to deliver remarkable power and work stable into 1 Ohm load.
The array of the featured filters is remarkably complex, beyond the standards of mobile electronics in this category: separate Hi-Pass and Lo-Pass filters, able to be configured into a 50 Hz – 10 Hz adjustable Band-Pass filter. A parametric equalizer is also on board, to optimize the response on amplified channels, as well as a Pre Out, to re-launch the input signal to another HP 802 in a multi-amplified system without limits on the number of ways.
OVERBUILT SUPPLY STAGE
In order to deliver such extraordinarily high power and to transfer it uninterruptedly, the power supply stage features multiple toroidal transformers, 105° Low ESR primary capacitors, TO247 Mosfets and large tank-type secondary capacitors.
CIRCUIT BOARDS AND COMPONENT DESIGNED SPECIFICALLY FOR SPL SYSTEMS
Inside the amplifier, the electronics have been designed specifically for SPL systems, driving low impedance loads with perfect thermal stability. Power for sound pressure without compromise.
ULTRA-VERSATILE AND COMPLETE CONTROL AND FILTER SYSTEM
The Front End section features a complete crossover system, for endless configuration possibilities. HP 802 is a stereo amplifier with separate Hi-Pass and Lo-Pass filters, operable in combination to create a Band-Pass filter; it also features an adjustable parametric equalizer as well as a Pre Out to re-launch the signal to other amplifiers in a multi-amplified system.
ALUMINIUM EXTRUDED HEATSINK
Aluminium extruded heatsink with enhanced thermal performance. Following the style of Hertz, the Hertz logo has been tastefully integrated into the top of the HP heatsink, and massive fins are featured along the side of the amplifier.
